What if creativity isn’t about nailing it, but about letting it evolve in public? In this poetic yet grounded reflection, Sang shares the behind-the-scenes of how his spoken podcast Love Louder birthed a parallel series of written “writerations.” This is an invitation to embrace your resistance, find your rhythm, and allow your creative process to unfold—raw, imperfect, alive.

You’ll hear about:

The power of iteration over perfection

Resistance vs. surrender as leadership qualities

Why making your process public transforms you

The difference between frequency-based spoken creation and refined written expression

Whether you’re a coach, creator, or quiet rebel, this one will resonate. Especially if you’ve ever felt blocked by the pressure to be polished.

“The question is, do you lead with resistance or do you lead with surrender?”

Tune in, soften, and let yourself be surprised.

00:00:00: Iteration number 60 of the Love Louder podcast.

00:00:05: And I have an announcement for you today.

00:00:08: We keep on iterating.

00:00:11: And while this here in this podcast, if you have been listening in, it is a field of frequency.

00:00:17: It's spoken in timacy through words, through reflections, poetic sometimes, but still I

00:00:26: try to keep it as grounded, as sharp as possible.

00:00:30: And we're here in a quiet rebellion against the notion of you have to figure it out all

00:00:39: right away.

00:00:40: You have to be perfect right now or never.

00:00:43: You have to...

00:00:46: All sorts of things that we sometimes connect with when we produce something, when we start

00:00:52: creating because this is not the creative process.

00:00:56: It's iterative.

00:00:58: And what emerged from that field of spoken in timacy of this podcast is a written one.

00:01:08: I have started to write to write to write iterations every day.

00:01:15: And these are written iterations that you can find currently on my Facebook profile.

00:01:24: So I might move them at some point, but for now I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.

00:01:31: And as you know, we keep it as simple as possible with a certain frame, with a loose frame that

00:01:39: we chose, but that allows us to create.

00:01:45: Now what is happening is while this spoken podcast that you're listening to right now,

00:01:52: it is very dynamic.

00:01:54: It is very alive too.

00:01:56: It is very, very out of that certain day.

00:02:03: Of course, when I write them, the right orations or iterations, there is more refinement to

00:02:10: it.

00:02:11: While I cannot just jot down my ideas and post them because it's myself that doesn't

00:02:18: understand them in the future when I look back on it.

00:02:23: So I refine them and it gets more sharp in a way that you can reread it.

00:02:31: So when you listen to the podcast, you tune in into a frequency.

00:02:36: It can be your sanctuary.

00:02:38: It can be your place where you just unplug from the hustle of life and have a deep look

00:02:48: into your heart.

00:02:50: And while the core of the written iterations that you can find on my Facebook profile is

00:02:59: the same, of course, because they come through me, it's a very different feeling.

00:03:07: It's a different energy and you might be interested in checking them out.

00:03:16: Just type in my name, Hungshang, Christman, Christman and you will find either my profile

00:03:23: or my page on Facebook and you can just go and check it out.

00:03:27: just dive in and read and read them slowly.

00:03:32: And if you want to read them aloud for yourself,

00:03:36: speak it out, it is like a fine chocolate

00:03:41: that you want to have melt on your mouth.

00:03:45: And it's the same thing.

00:03:48: We go through the iterative process.

00:03:50: There will some loops be open and some others

00:03:54: will be closed in a different iteration.

00:03:56: This is what being alive looks like

00:04:00: that nothing is done forever, like now and unchangeable.

00:04:05: We do not stagnate, we evolve.

00:04:12: And that is what maybe is in for you too

00:04:18: that you can take it as encouragement,

00:04:23: as inspiration that it is possible to not be just one and done,

00:04:28: but to really make it public too, that process,

00:04:33: that you will look like a fool at some points.

00:04:36: You will not even look but feel like being a fool

00:04:40: at some points, you will get stuck and just don't know.

00:04:45: And that's okay because that makes us human

00:04:49: as long as we do not indulge in that.

00:04:52: Because that's when the suffering starts

00:04:54: and that's when the loops in the drama start.

00:04:57: And if you want that, stay there.

00:05:00: There's no problem without it, with it.

00:05:02: But very often time, there will come a point

00:05:06: where we just want to snap out of that,

00:05:08: where we want to remove that friction

00:05:12: and that creation flows through us.

00:05:14: And that is what happens, happened to me with this podcast.

00:05:20: And the written iterations, because I had this idea

00:05:25: but I was resisting for a few days.

00:05:28: I was resisting and then I just jumped in the same thing

00:05:33: as with this spoken podcast.

00:05:35: So there will never be the point of no resistance

00:05:39: as long as you're in this form of a human body

00:05:41: because that makes it so exciting too.

00:05:45: The question is, do you lead with it?

00:05:47: Do you lead with resistance?

00:05:50: Or do you lead with surrender?

00:05:52: That's it for today.

00:05:59: I hope you just enjoy this.

00:06:02: Check it out on my Facebook page.

00:06:05: Put in my name, Hongshan Christman.

00:06:09: Send me a message, my DMs are open.

00:06:13: So I would love to read or hear from you.

00:06:19: It's here to be a field to be co-created.

00:06:23: So you're in it too.

00:06:25: It's never about one person alone.

00:06:29: It can all only be created through multiple channels.

00:06:34: And maybe it's time for you to step up

00:06:40: to remove that friction and surprise yourself.

00:06:47: Love a little louder.

00:06:49: Lots of love to you, Shang.

00:06:52: [End of Audio]
