LLI#1 Just Start: Bridging Fear and Freedom Through Action
Show notes
Ten minutes ago, I was asking my husband if I should start a podcast—because I was scared. Now, here I am, recording the first episode. This is the essence of Love Louder – Iterations of Becoming Human: embracing the tension between our human fears and our limitless, conscious nature. We are both the one who hesitates and the one who leaps. In this episode, I explore the dance between self-doubt and self-trust, the trap of seeking permission, and the power of surrender. If you’ve ever felt stuck between highest knowing and your human hesitation, this is for you. Let’s iterate our way forward—together.

00:00:00: Okay, so about 10 minutes ago, I was asking my partner and husband, like, what do you
00:00:12: think of me podcasting?
00:00:15: I want to start a podcast.
00:00:18: And I realized that I was asking him this because I was unsure if I want to do it because
00:00:28: I was scared.
00:00:29: So I just took some reason to, like, have some more time to discuss it with someone to
00:00:37: just not do it.
00:00:38: So now here I am, like, 10 minutes ago, I was asking my husband and now I'm actually
00:00:46: recording that which is to be the first episode of this podcast.
00:00:53: And it's going to be literally showing what I want to show you is that we are navigating
00:01:01: through life, iterating, and then that there's nothing like the first perfect breath.
00:01:09: And I know this because I've started practicing it.
00:01:14: I've started implementing tiny, tiny changes throughout, like, the days each, like one each
00:01:20: day just to get myself going because now I became a mother about nine months ago and
00:01:31: I had been self-employed before that.
00:01:36: To be honest, my business was never thriving like I wanted it to thrive.
00:01:42: I was never, like, getting the traction, the momentum I wanted to be because I never really
00:01:49: fully showed up.
00:01:50: Like, I think I was kind of wobbly in how I committed because what I was doing is I
00:01:58: ran around and asked people for permission.
00:02:03: I asked people for permission or I just wanted someone else to save me with their opinion,
00:02:10: with their strategy because I was giving my power away and, like, someone else knows
00:02:18: it better.
00:02:19: Now, I'm very, very keen on learning.
00:02:23: I have fun learning.
00:02:24: I enjoy, like, stretching my mind and stretching my ability to, like, handle things emotionally
00:02:34: but also, like, honing my skills.
00:02:38: Yet what I did not realize is throughout the years I've been trying to build a business
00:02:45: and I was still giving my power away and wanted someone else to save me.
00:03:00: Now this might resonate with you or not.
00:03:05: What I can tell is if you have that something, that desire to build a business, to build
00:03:17: something of your own and express yourself as, like, show up as you are, this might be
00:03:23: for you because what I thought was I have to be someone else to actually be successful
00:03:31: in business, to be a successful professional entrepreneur, to do things, like, you might
00:03:41: have heard there are lots of, lots of strategy and tactics and, like, nowadays, like, online
00:03:49: lots of people selling you things, like, because they are convicted for the stuff they do,
00:03:54: they say this is the way you have to do it.
00:03:56: This way or else you're going to, I don't know, your life's going to stall and everything
00:04:01: will shatter into pieces and it's not going to work.
00:04:05: So what I want to find out right now is what is mine?
00:04:12: Like how do I want to do it and what is the business I am building?
00:04:19: Like now is we just moved, like, about three, four months ago to Germany.
00:04:27: I do not have a business.
00:04:31: I have not, I haven't got anything registered or so and this is exactly why I started this
00:04:37: podcast right now because I see that I want to free myself of everything that I thought,
00:04:51: like, this is how you need to do it.
00:04:55: So what we tend to do is, like, when we are learning, we take on someone else's perspective
00:05:05: in addition to ours, but what might happen is that we think that this is the whole great,
00:05:12: that this is the only way that you need to follow and then you're going to be, I don't
00:05:16: know, successful, happy in your relationship or thriving in an abundant, but without that
00:05:23: realizing that it only gets like this fulfilling if you just add it to what is yours already.
00:05:33: For this you have to know yourself and to actually explore what your unique expression
00:05:40: is and this is what we are doing right here right now.
00:05:46: So first lesson is there's nothing that can imitate you, that there's nothing that can
00:05:57: save you or no one that can save you and there's only you who can express yourself like you
00:06:05: do and I'm actually just grasping the thought of it right now and starting to embody it
00:06:10: by recording this podcast because I've never done it before and I realized that there were
00:06:21: several attempts.
00:06:22: Like, I've been a yoga teacher, I taught German as a foreign language, I've been a
00:06:27: coach, there were several careers I pursued besides actually being an air-track controller
00:06:33: for a decade and I did well when I had an employer like someone else telling me what
00:06:42: to do and I did well when I was not actually focusing on building a business, when I was
00:06:51: not focusing on the results of building a business.
00:06:57: This was like for the yoga teacher training because I just started the training to learn
00:07:06: about myself and then it happened to be fun for me to teach and colleagues were interested
00:07:15: because I shared what I did that I was learning and then they started to take lessons with
00:07:21: me and so I resistently got into actually teaching yoga and very similar to teaching
00:07:30: German I just had never in mind like that I have to be successful in a way of like financially
00:07:37: or you know like what you classically connect with doing business.
00:07:43: business. So it just came with so much ease through many, many lessons and many, many
00:07:51: people I'm grateful for that they took the lead to pick me as a teacher because it gave
00:07:58: me the chance of iterating my process of like learning about myself, how to manage time,
00:08:05: how to manage the lessons, how I want to teach and also like I learned that I'm not for everybody.
00:08:13: And in the end, I had only like those people sticking with me that I was like really like
00:08:24: enjoying spending my time with and being paid for it. That was a bonus. It was not the actual
00:08:32: actual main goal. And then it switched to, hey, why not become a coach? And I started
00:08:38: focusing on I have to get results to build this business because otherwise this is not
00:08:45: a business. Like this is the only thing that that is differentiates business from being
00:08:53: a hobby that you get paid for it. And then I over focused on getting paid and getting
00:09:00: clients and yeah, just the goals of business that I sacrificed having fun. And I still
00:09:11: had fun learning to copyright or to to just not just learning but actually practicing
00:09:19: and exploring myself and speaking and training and coaching. But still it was not as with
00:09:28: ease as it was before. And I'm not telling you that you do not have to do hard things
00:09:34: from time to time. It just that was what was hard is was holding myself back. And so here's
00:09:47: the second point I want to tell you like, if there's anything you want to do and for
00:09:52: me, it was building a business for years already. There's like anything that you want to do
00:10:00: in this life science that you just can't get away without doing it. Even if you try, then
00:10:09: do it like take fast action. And you know, I've been discussing this idea like just 20,
00:10:19: 15 minutes ago and like, I was like, okay, how how I want to do it? Like how do I have
00:10:28: to set it up? How what is important to set up a professional podcast? Yeah, like, and
00:10:33: then I, I just realized I'm doing the same thing again, what I did the past four years,
00:10:41: I was overthinking this whole thing. So now we're at like, fuck, I just do it. And we're
00:10:50: going to keep iterating throughout the process. And another difference is to actually fully
00:11:00: commit it like fully commit not to the results, but to this iterative process to the repetition
00:11:13: of certain steps for me, it's going to be this podcast. So I want to bring to you a
00:11:22: lesson in every podcast and every day just to follow curiosity, to explore, to experiment.
00:11:34: And if this is serving you too as well, I'm very happy about it. Like, it's gonna surface
00:11:43: as you listening to me and me sharing with you. So there's a certain freedom that lies
00:11:52: in restriction, if you just finally surrendered it. So if you're a little bit like me, you've
00:12:02: been, you've been trying to force things according to your will. And where it may happen, you
00:12:14: might get some results and that's going to be fun for like the first couple of times,
00:12:20: it's going to be exhausting in the long run. And I'm not here to build this thing in the
00:12:25: long run. So Chiro says, I do not have a business right now. I don't have paid offer. I just
00:12:35: have this podcast. I have my voice. I'm sitting here in our, what's it called, the room you
00:12:45: sleep in, dormitory. I just skip the professional microphone that I actually have to ensure
00:12:53: good quality on you because I do enjoy this well as well. I just took my headphones and
00:12:59: my phone because I needed to overcome. And you might too, you need to overcome this first
00:13:08: fear of doing the thing that you desire that, that resistance that comes in the first place
00:13:20: because if not, you never, you never going to find out. And the thing is like, it's going
00:13:28: to compound in both ways. One is the fear you have. Like you're going to say, Oh, not
00:13:37: now. Oh, no, not tomorrow because you're going to find ways why not to do things. And maybe
00:13:45: you do not feel well or your child is sick or whatever. Like I'm not saying like neglect
00:13:55: your environment or your health because I bet even if your child is sick or you do not
00:14:04: feel well, there's certain things that you still do every day. If you're motivated or
00:14:12: not. So take this as an opportunity to surrender and to surrender to first of all, letting
00:14:23: go of the commitment you take of everything that you thought things, how things should
00:14:36: be and the opportunity that opens up before you when you actually take the first step
00:14:45: and find out. So take fast action, show up as yourself. And yeah, I just hope that serves
00:15:01: you. We're going to get clear along the episodes. This is just the first thing I don't want
00:15:05: to get it too long. It's just too overcoming the first resistance because we're not going
00:15:11: to let it build up. We're going to dive right into it. Lots of love to you. See you here
00:15:18: you next time. Thank you for listening and spending your time with me.
00:15:24: [Take some rest and head back to the lab or you can get a water supply via the internet.]
